Brief Update
My Amorphophallus bulbifer is in bloom! From what I recently saw in Florida, this does not look like the typical A. bulbifer bloom. How weird (and racy?)! Happy gardening!

My beloved said it was "the creepiest looking flower" he had ever seen!
